In September 1988 the Nikon F4 and the Nikon F4S were completed and simultaneously introduced in Japan, Europe and in the USA. In June 1987 the Nikon F4 was taken into commercial production (made up of 1850 parts!). the Nikon F3, EM and others, was consulted and asked to design that camera.
